DAILY MAINTENANCE
1. Check whether the Furnace bed is properly fluidized The temperature in the furnace is above 800 to 900 Temperature.
2. Check the draft between the furnace & exhaust in the range of -2 to -4 mmwc.
3. Check the Feed Water pump working properly.
4. Check the softness Water with the test kit & record the results.
5. Give blow-down at regular intervals depending on feed water parameters.
6. Blow down the Mobrey Level Switch.
7. Blowdown the Gauge Glasses.
8. Check for any Steam leakage at Boiler & PRV station.
9. Ensure the cleaning of machines & removal of unnecessary items.
10. All abnormal sounds are to be observed.
11. Steam leakages of valves.
12. Check Fly Ash and ensure timely ash removal.
13. Clean water gauge class from inside and outside.
14. Check the working of the Mabrey level switch, Low & Extra Low-level alarm working Open blowdown valve.
15. Check when the water level reaches 35% in gauge glass, there should be an audiovisual alarm.
16. Check for leaks around the door seal.
17. Check the working of Safety Valves.
18. Close the main steam valve & allow boiler pressure to increase, safety valve should open and note down the set pressure.
19. Check the functioning of the boiler for
AUTO operation.
20. Clean Feed water Strainers.
21. Tighten all foundation bolts.
22. Check the Blower for any Vibrations.
23. Check shaft seal leakage.
24. Check all bearings.
25. Tools audit to be done.
BOILER MONTHLY MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST
(1)Check &record load currents.
(2)Check the inter-locks for water pressure & Temperature.
(3)Check for the proper functioning of Water Pumps & NRVs.
(4)Drain the soft water service tank remove sediments, and clean it from the inside.
(5)Tighten the stuffing box of the water pump.
(6)Clean the silver contacts of the relay with carbon tetrachloride.
(7)Check all the Valves for leakages. Ease the steam safety valve and reset it.
(8)Clean all the Line steam Strainers.
(9)Check and replace Oil in gearboxes.
(10)Check the functioning of Switchgears.
(11)Check the condition of the grate bars and replace damaged ones.
(12) Open the smoke chamber door, take out the spirals and clean the full length of the tubes with a brush
(13) Check the tension and alignment of ID Fan belts and bolts.
Boiler Quarterly Maintenance checklist
(1)Drain and clean the feed water
storage tanks
(2)Clean the ID and FD Fan blades
(3)Lubricate the bearings of the water pump,
Boiler Half-yearly Maintenance checklist
(1)Check the condition of the refractory wall of the combustion chamber.
(2)Check all valves for leakage and lap them with lapping paste.
(3)Check the ducts and other joints for the infiltration of fresh air.
Boiler Yearly Maintenance checklist
(1)Check & repair the insulating lining of the boiler.
(2)Clean the feed tank and paint them.
(3)Clean the inside of the flue gas outlet.
(4)Grease electric motor
(5)Check the membrane panel, its headers, and tubes from outside for cleanliness & clean it.
(6)Clean APH
(7)Clean the bag filter bags
(8)Clean the deaerator (9)Clean the condensate water recovery tank (10)Clean the ESP (11)Clean the HRU (12)Clean the economizer |
